| Waldorf Wine Group was established in 1993, with our first imports arriving from South Africa in the post-apartheid period. While we've expanded considerably since those first days we remain now as we were then - a family-owned business, specializing in premium wines, that has never lost the personal touch. Based in Vancouver and serving primarily the British Columbia market, we are also active in Alberta and Ontario. In Alberta we work through the many fine private wine shops and restaurants. In Ontario we work with LCBO Vintages, supplying many of their monthly releases. In B.C. we work with the Government liquor stores (BCLDB) and private sector wine merchants and restaurants. We import wines from most major wine-producing countries, but specialize in two areas: Bordeaux and Germany. In Bordeaux we work with the highly-regarded Negocient firm Veyret Latour. Through this house we source the grandest of the Classified Growth, including First-Growths Chateaux Latour, Lafite-Rothschild, Mouton-Rothschild, Margaux and Haut-Brion. We regularly offer these wines in older vintages and larger formats. In addition to the many Petit Chateaux we work with, we also enjoy a particularly good working relationship with "Super Seconds" Pichon-Lalande and Cos d'Estournel - both are consistant and exemplary producers. |

From Germany we are proud to work with the famous Negocient J&H Selbach Family, headed by our good friends Johannes and Barbara Selbach. While the Selbachs are well respected for their Negocient work, they are no doubt best known for running their
superlative Mosel estate Selbach-Oster. These fines wines, along with those of Joh. Jos. Prum (Mosel) Fritz Haag (Mosel), J.J. Christoffel (Mosel), Toni Jost (Mittelrhein) and Muller Catoir (Rheinpfalz), comprise the majority of our German offerings. |
